We will discuss one of my all time favorite things while photographing: LIGHT! What are the different types of light? Looking for light to add to your composition, removing that light and even using shadows for impact!
JUNE:
Introduction into Milky Way and Aurora Borealis Photography
This call will be an introduction to night photography. Typical settings to use. How to plan for these types of shoots. What other tools there are, like phone apps that can help you with your planning.

Introduction to Lightroom and Editing
This will be a very basic introduction into editing in Lightroom. We will not do a deep dive, but I will help you to learn the basics about highlights, shadows, contrast, temperature, dehaze, clarity, saturation and so forth.

Understanding what Different Lenses Do 6-7pm
We will discuss different types of lenses (zoom, prime, macro, wide angle) and what they are used for. We will also talk about using lenses outside their normal use to create some amazing photos!

On this call we will go over steps that will help you plan a successful one day or multi-day photography shoot, even if the weather doesn't cooperate! We will discuss gear, locations, weather apps, budgeting your time and more.
